Indigenes and residents of Ido-Oko, Ile Ayo, Ibala, Eesun, Ijana, Ayegunle, Ijaregbe and members of All Progressives Congress in Obokun State Constituency have reaffirmed their support for the lawmaker representing them, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye and the party.
They made the declaration recently at the Ido-Oko Ijesa Multipurpose town hall, while receiving Oyintiloye and his team for the second phase of his seventh edition of Empowerment Programme for all Wards across Obokun.
In the joint pronouncement which was led by the APC’ Chairmen in Obokun East LCDA and Obokun LGA, Alhaji Ismaila Kehinde and Alhaji Olamijulo Oladimeji described the lawmaker as a performing representative, adding that their belief in the APC remains undiluted.
During the event, the lawmaker distributed several farming tools and equipments, cash gifts as well as materials for domestic use to the people.
Among the traditional rulers at the programme were, the Ado Oko of Ido-Oko Ijesa, Oba Micheal Adeyemi; Lupasi of Ipasi, Oba Ezekiel Alaba Oludare; Ajaregbe of Ijaregbe, Oba Edward Adetimo; Onileayo of Ileayo, Oba Oluwabunmi Adelowo; Onibala of Ibala, Oba Amb. Adegboyega Ariyo.
Among political functionaries present were, Chairman, Oriade Local Government, Hon. Bunmi Obeisun; Vice Chairman, Obokun Local Government, Hon. Tunde Isaac; Prince Ademola Adeyeye and Barrister Dupe Gbadebo among others.
Others Senatorial Vice Chairman, Hon. Ajibola Ademola, Mrs Funke Ajayi among others.
In his speech, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye described the ancient town as a progressives’ town, adding that it is known for voting and supporting the APC. He expressed his appreciation and promised to always ensure that the town is not left behind in terms of government benefits and development.
