The State of Osun Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Adelani Baderinwa has said that Governor Rauf Aregbesola is leaving behind a solid legacy and landmark achievements difficult to erase in the history of the state.

Baderinwa said that Aregbesola’s administration is already a success story, hence, the task before every progressive-minded people of the state to ensure that the governor hand over power to another progressive governor who will not derail from the development plan already laid.

The commissioner stated this while receiving members of the Progressive E-Group, a social media team projecting and promoting the Aregbesola’s administration.

According to Baderinwa, mischief makers and ‘lazy opposition’ could not act more than ‘foolishness’ in an attempt to make issue where there is none in their bid to criticise Aregbesola’s administration.

He said: “We have not been lacking in the pursuit of our goals; what we are working on (the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola) is already a success story.

“There is no how anybody will write the history of Osun without giving attention to Aregbesola administration’s achievements.

“It will amount to foolishness to attempt to rubbish or not acknowledge Aregbesola’s achievements and that is why the oppositions are making noise on no issue and they are always getting it wrong.

“We must be part of history by ensuring that Aregbesola hands over to another progressive governor. We have never had in the history of the state for a progressive governor to hand over to another progressive governor.

“We must work to make sure that there is transition of state power from Aregbesola to another progressive governor. That is the task ahead”, he stressed.
