Adesoji Docked For Receiving Stolen Phone

A 24-year-old man, Samuel  Adesoji was arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Osogbo for allegedly buying stolen phone.

The accused person was docked on one count charge bothering on receiving  stolen property.

He is alleged of buying itel 1516 phone on November 19,  2017 at Sabo Area, Osogbo property of one Joseph Ogunrinde knowing fully well that the said phone was stolen.

The offence committed, The charge sheet, revealed is contrary to and punishable Under section 427 of criminal code cap 34 vol.ii laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.

However, the accused person pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred  against him.

The defence counsel, Amechi Ugwu applied for the bail of the accused person in the most liberal term, saying he won’t jump bail if granted.

The Presiding Magistrate, O. A Oloyade granted the suspect bail in the sum of N50,000 with two reliable sureties.

The case was adjourn till 12 November  2018 for hearing.
