Youths  Protest In Yobe, Says Saraki Must Go

Youths took to the street accompanied by Security operatives protesting against the Senate president,  Abubakar Bukola Saraki and other members of the National Assembly in Potiskum local government area of Yobe state.

Speaking to correspondent, leader of the protests, Nafi’u Lawan, said “The demonstration is a peaceful one embarked upon because we voted for change in 2015 general elections, and Nigerian Senate want to truncate the change mantra, by not confirming Ibrahim Magu and some other vital issues that would benefit Nigerians.”

“The issue of Comptroller General of the Nigeria Custom Hameed Ali and others, are also embarrassing the Nation.”

One of the protesters, Alhassan Wadima said the protest was against the action of Senate President and other National Assembly members over non confirmation of, Ibrahim U guys as the Acting Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
