Tragedy struck on Thursday as a storey building located at 34, Oloto Street by Borno Way, off Freeman Street, Oyingbo, Lagos State, partially collapsed.
It was learnt that the incident, which occurred early hours of Thursday, killed a yet-to-be-identified older woman.
According to NTA, emergency responders revealed that an internal suspended beam in a room collapsed due to ageing and lack of maintenance of the structure.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
