A gang of armed robbers on Thursday attacked the Wema bank in Okuku, Odo-Otin Local Government of Osun State.
The robbery operations was said to be ongoing as at the time of filing this report.
Residents of Wema bank, which is along Offa-Ilorin road were in panic.
Confirming the robbery operations, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs Yemisi Opalola said policemen have been deployed to the scene.
According to Opalola, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Olawale Olokode led the police team to confront the armed robbers.
