The College of Law, Ifetedo campus of Osun State University has been shut.
OSUN DEFENDER reliably gathered on Saturday that students have been told to vacate the campus premises on or before 4pm today, Saturday, 20th February, 2021 following the protests that erupted in the campus on Friday.
Reports say Students of the Ifetedo Campus of the ivory tower had protested a perpetual increase in their hostel fees as well as the new policies introduced by the school authorities which were not palatable to them.
In an interview with OSUN DEFENDER, the Public Relations Officer of the University, Mr Ademola Adesoji assured that the management is meeting on the matter.
Adesoji said “the management has heard of the incident and it is meeting to find a lasting solution to address the issues raised.”
