The Osun State police has arraigned two suspects, Oyebode Fatai, 55, and Atoyebi Kamorudeen, 53, before an Osogbo magistrate court over alleged malicious damage.
The suspects were docked on Wednesday April 18, 2018 on a three-count charge bothering on felony, conspiracy and malicious damages.
The prosecutor Inspector Rasaq Lamidi told the court that the defendants committed the offence sometimes in February.
He said that the duo and others at large unlawfully and maliciously damaged erected block corner piece valued N48,000 .
The prosecutor said the duo forcibly entered into the land situated at Osogbo which is in actual and peaceful possession of Tajudeen Ajao.
He stressed further that the offence contravenes Sections 517, 451 and 81 of the criminal code cap 34 volume. 11 laws of Osun State 2003.
The two accused pleaded not guilty to the two-count Charge against them.
Their defence counsel Mr Sunday Atofarati and K. E Ngwoke urged the court to grant the accused bail in the most liberal and affordable terms.
The magistrate Mr Olusegen Ayilara granted the duo bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties each.
He said the sureties must reside within the court jurisdiction and then adjourned the matter to June 6 for hearing.
