The Department of State Services (DSS) has revealed details of its undercover operations which led to the arrest of 10 suspected members of Boko Haram/Islamic State’s West Africa Province in Ilesa, Osun State.
The operation was carried out at an old bungalow building close to St. Mary Catholic Church, Ifofin, and Ogbon Idio, Ilesa, in the Ilesa-East Local Government Area of the state.

2. Adeleke Lauds DSS Over Arrest Of Suspected Terrorists In Osun
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has lauded the Department of State Services for the recent arrest of suspected members of Boko Haram/Islamic State’s West Africa Province in Ilesa.
Adeleke’s comment came on the heels of a report by Saturday PUNCH detailing how the secret police carried out a raid on Ogbon Idio and Ifofin areas of Ilesa on December 16, 2024, and arrested 10 suspected ISWAP.
A statement signed by the spokesperson to the governor, Olawale Rasheed, on Saturday, said Adeleke commended the DSS for a successful operation.
