4. Adeleke Memorial Cup: Footballer Slumps, Dies During Tournament In Osun

One Adeyemi Adewale, a footballer who was participating in a football competition in Osogbo, the state capital, on Thursday, slumped and died.

The competition was reportedly organised by the House of Representative member representing Ede, Ejigbo, and Egbedore federal constituency, Bamidele Salam, in memory of the late former governor of the state, Isiaka Adeleke.
