The leading political organisation in Osun State, Omoluabi Progressives, has accused political actors of an attempt to silence leading voices in its camp with the re-arrest of one its members and social media activist, Qomarudeen Oladepo, popularly known as Adabanija.
Osun Defender had reported that Adabanija, who was re-arrested by operatives of the Osun State Police Command on Tuesday on allegations of alleged defamation against the Minster of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.

2. Lagbaja: Adeleke, Military Chiefs Visit Ilobu
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State alongside a high-powered military delegation on Tuesday visited the Olobu of Ilobu, Oba Ashiru Olaniyan to commiserate with him on the demise of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja.

An Osun State High Court sitting in Ikirun has dismissed the suit filed by the Ikirun kingmakers and Prince Yinusa Akadiri against Governor Ademola Adeleke and the Osun State Government, affirming the validity of the White Paper issued by the state government on the Ikirun kingship crisis.
According to Daily Post, the case, presided over by Justice M. O. Agboola, marked a significant victory for the Adeleke administration as the court ruled in favour of the state government’s decision to nullify the previous appointment process for the Akinrun stool.
