Thugs Threaten AAC Assembly Candidate, Supporters In Boripe

Thugs suspected to be members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Otan Ayegbaju in Boluwaduro Local Government of the State of Osun, have reportedly been sending threat messages to the candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) for Boripe/Boluwaduro state constituency in the forthcoming House of Assembly election, Comrade Maruf Olatunbosun popularly known as Fesojaye.

According to a trending online voice messages obtained by OSUN DEFENDER, the thugs threatened to attack Mr. Segun Aboke known as Destiny, one of the supporters of the AAC candidate, if he continues to support Olatunbosun.

In a voice message listened to by the medium, one of the thugs threatened to kill Aboke and Olatunbosun if they continue their campaigns.

The thug warned Aboke to desist from supporting the AAC candidate, threatening that failure to do that will lead him to trouble.

Political players in Boripe and Boluwaduro Local Governments in separate interviews with OSUN DEFENDER, under the condition of anonymity, alleged that the thugs were suspectedly sent by the PDP to notable grassroot politicians in the area, ahead of next Saturday’s election.
