As the All Progressives Congress, APC, takes its Mega rally to Ikirun, Ifelodun Federal constituency, the Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has urged residents to prevail on decampees from the party to return home.
Aregbesola said this is because APC is sure to win at the September 22nd governorship election and he would not want the decampees to be left behind.
“Tell decampees to return home and those who are angry to sheath their swords. This is because our party is sure to win the coming election like we have always won and we would not want them to be left behind.”
He also urged residents to only cast their votes to those capable and well read in the persons of Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola as Governor and Benedict Alabi as deputy Governor.
The Akirun of Ikirun, Oba Abdulrauf Olayiwola Adedeji who happily welcomed the Governor and his entourage, assured that the residents of Ikirun would only vote for APC.
“There is no need to worry about here, there is no noise anywhere. Be rest assured, you have never disappointed us, we are only happy the continuity we seek will come to pass.”
