By Nofisat Marindoti

Several speculations and questions have trailed the recent announcement of another Parents’ Forum Meeting by the management of Osun State University, UNIOSUN.

Students are hoping the purpose of the meeting is not to announce another proposed increase in the institution’s tuition fee as was done last year.

In a massage credited to the Dean Students Affairs of the institution, Dr Adepeju Adigun, another edition of the Parents Forum Meeting is set to hold on June 27 at Olagunsoye Oyinlola Hall in the school’s main campus, Osogbo.

It would be recalled that the school management had increased the institution’s tuition fee after a meeting with parents on October 20, 2017.

The institution’s VC, Prof Olabode Popoola, had explained during the meeting, that the increase in the tuition fees was to enable management run the university without hindrances.

In a chat with Osun Defender, a student who spoke under anonymity, expressed his fear at the school management announcing another increase in tuition fee at the meeting.
