Senate Invitation: Hameed Ali Remains Adamant

Costumes Boss Hameed Ali written to the Senate, refusing to acknowledge any further invitation.

  Reports say Ali told the Senate in the letter that he would not appear based on the advice of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.

The Eagle Online says it learnt from sources within the Senate that Ali claimed Malami wrote to him and all the parties involved with his invitation by the Senate to stay action pending the determination of an originating summons filed by one Mohammed

Ali was told to make himself available on Wednesday, March 22 in the official uniform of the customs service when he appeared before the senators recently. He was subsequently walked out of the chamber.
