Following the security challenges in Kaduna State, the Kaduna state government has announced September 12 as resumption date for schools across the state.
It would be recalled that schools in the North-West state had been closed down due to insecurity and the ongoing warfare being carried out against bandits in the state.
The Commissioner of Education in the state, Dr Shehu Muhammad announced the date when schools in the state are expected to resume while participating in a virtual workshop organised by the Education Writers’ Association of Nigeria.
Muhammad disclosed that the state has worked out strategies towards ensuring the completion of the third term through online platforms.
He said, schools will resume the first term for the 2021/2022 academic calendar in phases at the set date.
