RCCG Pastor Resigns From Being A Pastor As He Exposes What Really Happens In The Church

A pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God has resigned from the popular church and has granted interviews to reveal what he says goes on in the church.

This is coming shortly after the general oversea Pastor E.A Adeboye told his members during a service that whoever ‘does not pay tithe would not make heaven’.  The Pastor, identified simply as pastor Wellington, went on air to accuse the church of being a franchise that makes money from members by putting fear in them and laying curses on them. He added that pastors are aware of this but are afraid to leave because the church has tied their properties to their membership and if they leave, they will lose everything.

Pastor Wellington called the prestigious RCCG a “Tower of Babel” and said, “it will take only God to pull down that Tower of Babel.” According to LIB, when he was informed that his video announcing his resignation had gone viral, Pastor Wellington said: .

“It is the Lord’s doing and it’s wonderful in our sight. Let it continue, let everybody hear it. I won’t hide my own identity. Other pastors in the Redeemed can continue to hide their own identity. I am free. That is the demonstration of my freedom.”

“So let the whole world hear what is happening within the RCCG. And I believe my testimony will be a good one, I mean, a help to all others that are in the system.

“I thank God that the word that I made mention of that they were putting us under curse has been confirmed through the video that you have been playing since Monday. And that even if one paid his tithe, he’s still under curse.”

Pastor Wellington also spoke about the different ways the church gets its income from members by collecting unending offerings and donations under different names.

He claimed that the African mission offering, which must be donated every first Sunday of each month, “goes directly to the pocket of pastor Foluke Adeboye, the wife of Adeboye.”

He also claimed that RCCG is a franchise system of operation, where each parish belongs to each pastor and the pastors of each branch are expected to pay 70-75 per cent of their income to the headquarters of the church while they take the remaining for themselves. In order word, the church is loaning their brand to them in return for members’ money

“You are to run with the parish. Just give them their own portion. They’re borrowing you the logo and they’re borrowing you their members,” he claimed.

He added:

“That already has made many pastors to go into stealing because the 30 and 20 per cent that remains is not enough for them. So they have to lie, they have to cheat. They will do different kinds of things.”

He also alleged that pastors of RCCG have bought lands in Redemption camp using money made from their church. But if they dare leave the Redeemed Christian Church of God, they will lose all their properties in Redemption camp. He added that as a result of this, many pastors are aware of what goes on in the church but their hands are tied and they cannot come out for fear of losing all they have.

He said:

“So what I did by leaving Redeemed Christian Church of God, many pastors in the Redeemed will not be able to do it. Many presently are hearing what you are saying but they cannot come out, because if they dare come out, they will lose everything that they’ve invested in the same system for many many years.

“So Redeemed is a Tower of Babel.”

  • What a pity. I am aware of this same thing in the Celestial and in CAC but I never thought a church like the Redeemed could do such things. No wonder so much socials have been mixed with ostensible spirituals. Holiness has been relegated to the background, that is if it ever gets a mention at all.

  • To be fair we should hear from the other side. Is this outlet going to interview daddy GO of RCCG about this? At least he should have something to say.

  • May the Lord have mercy on PST. Wellington and PST. Sunday Adelaja for all the souls their ignorance are leading astray. If PST. Adeboye is at fault according to them, let God judge him! Judgement is not in the hand of men but God. David never laid a hand on King Saul every time he had opportunity to. Why? David understood how spiritual issues are handled. Miriam and Aaron were dealt with by God when they criticized Moses for marrying an Ethiopian against the commandment of God. Is God unrighteous? No! That is why He is called, the Unquestionable God. Please, he that thinketh he standeth, take heed, lest he falls. The end time is fast running very close. Beware and guard your salvation jealousy with fear and trembling and don’t allow all these strange noises from the pit of hell distract you from making heaven. LEAVE PST. ADEBOYE ALONE!!!! LET GOD JUDGE HIM HIMSELF!!!

  • Christians have left the “WAR ROOM” and are now busy with flesh. No wonder Boko Haram and Yettie Allah are gaining more grounds and becoming more powerful shutting the mouths of Christians and shedding more blood in our society. Christians are becoming more susceptible to the enemy and more vulnerable daily because of our carelessness. We take the Grace of God for granted. Judgement is coming. GUARD YOUR SALVATION JEALOUSY!!!

    • You are right. It’s a pity that those who called themselves end time Pastors are neglecting the real gospel of the kingdom and start judging their fellow pastors. They forgot that in all the churches mentioned in the Bible God always has something to point at as their weaknesses. May God have mercy on us!

  • All xtians ar in bondage, only islam can deliver them

  • This is pointing us to the kind of revolution that will befell the society soon. It is already starting from congregation of worshippers. It is called knowledge of God. The bible says in the last days knowledge shall fill the whole earth as water covers the sea. Men of God have failed to teach the right knowledge(John 17:1-2) to the people and they have over time stumbled. Therefore God himself is reaching out to people through various means. This will eventually turn back at pastors. Am not surprised at all for God is not a respecter of man.

  • You have no right to judge a man of God let alone a renowned man of God like pastor E A Adeboye it is left for God I hope you read your bible and you know what God did to those who were judging Moses in the Bible.

  • Are you confessing your own sins while there or blaming those who are still there and believe what they chose to believe? Kindly read 2Cor chapter 4. The devil has his path and some must follow. 2Pet chpt 2 revealed how false teachers would emerge as in those days when false prophets were allowed in. Do much to redeem urself.
