Presidential candidate, Durotoye pleads for a free and fair election

Presidential Candidate, Alliance For New Nigeria (ANN), Mr Fela Durotoye, says the most important thing is for Nigerians to win, whatever the outcome of the Presidential election, once it is free and fair.

Durotoye made the assertion while speaking with newsmen after casting his vote alongside his wife, Tara, at Polling Unit 033, Ward 4, Victoria Garden City, Lagos on Saturday.

“Today has come and Nigerians have the opportunity to choose their future and shape the country’s future and take it to the next level for our children.

“There is no defeat on this journey. The most important thing is for Nigerians to win and any which way the outcome goes, Nigerians will win, as long as the process is free, fair and credible,” he said.

Durotoye, who said he had confidence in the people, said that the election was an opportunity for Nigerians to shape and change the country’s future.

He said that he was dissatisfied with the ineffectiveness of some card readers, urging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to get back up to speed up voting process.
