Elder Adelowo Adebiyi has proverbially described President Muhammadu Buhari as a member of the Osun Progressives (TOP).
Elder Adebiyi is a former chairman of the progressive party which metamorphosed into the APC as well as the chairman of TOP.
The APC chieftain said this while speaking with some selected members of the Youth Wing of TOP at the Oranmiyan House, Osogbo on Monday.
According to him, one of the objectives of TOP, which is fostering a level playing ground and kicking against the imposition of candidates in the APC is in tandem with the recent position of President Muhammadu Buhari while featuring on an interactive programme on Arise.
During the said programme on Arise TV, President Buhari had said that “no one will seat down in Lagos and determine what will happen in the APC”.
Explaining further, he said Buhari was referring to the fact that nobody will seat down in his comfort zone and impose candidates on the party.
Adebiyi insisted that the coming APC Ward and local government congresses must follow the guidelines of the party and that the group will resist any form of imposition across board.
