Police Parades 23-Years-Old ‘Yahoo Boy’ For $80,000 Scam

Osun State police has paraded a 23-years-old internet fraudster popularly called ‘yahoo yahoo’ for duping an american the sum of $80 thousand.
The suspect who is identify as Agboola Femi was paraded at the headquarter of Osun State Police command, Osogbo on Monday.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adeoye Fimihan while addressing the journalists said that, the police with the help of another good Nigerian we are able to get to the root of the matter because he had made useful statement.
According to Adeoye’s address, “Femi who is an internet fraudster defrauded American the sum of $80 thousand.
“He presented himself as a woman on the internet and he succeeded in seeking the friendship of his victim who thereafter paid the money into his account.
“Although he has denied collecting$80 thousand dollars but $43 thousand. Our concern is the terrible image he would have given Nigeria with his scheme. It has gone to further show that many youths are not interested in hard work again.
“Investigation is been concluded and we are processing for necessary prosecution that will commence very soon”.
Femi during his confession said, I ventured into internet fraud in 2014 and the money I have collected total sum of $43 thousand since I started.
“The white man said he is looking for a serious relationship which I said I can offer him and since then we have been together”.
The police also paraded three different gang who were alleged that had been terrorising the people of Ede and environs.
It was gathered that of the of the gang arrested has been on the wanted list of the command for sometimes now.
Adeoye futher explained that, the set were involved in series of murder and kidnapping.
” Their is an investigation about someone they kiiled but the Command haven’t gotten where that fellow was interred.
Along side the Femi, some set of armed robbers who were caught with two guns in the act.
