The Police Division at Moore in Ile Ife have arrested 10 suspected Internet fraudsters popularly known as “Yahoo Yahoo” for offenses bordering on obtaining by false pretence and lottery scam.
The suspects are Gbenga Tunde 22, Dojo Seun 19, Bamidele David 23, Razaq Oladeji 26, Seun Adeoye, Gani Dimeji 20, Paul Joshua 21, Hammeed Badmus 27, Adenekan Adedibu 24, and Seye Bamijoko 25.
The Area “A” Commamda of the Police, Moore Division, Funsho Adegboye said the suspects were arrested on Monday at Eleyele area in Ile Ife.
They were alleged of living a flamboyant life without a legitimate source of income.
The Commander said that items recovered from the suspects are laptops, phones, 12 exotic cars, Sim cards and charms.
