Police Arraign Tipper Driver For Allegedly Killing 6 Persons In Osun

Osun State Police command on Tuesday arraigned a 22- year-old Tipper Driver, Muraina Taiwo in an Osogbo Magistrates court for allegedly killing 6 Persons.

According to the charge sheet, the defendant killed 6 Persons on 16 November, 2019 at Steel Rolling Area, Osogbo .

It stated that the offence was contrary to and punishable under section 27 of RTA cap ll5 vol.6 Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.

The defendant however, pleaded not guilty to the two (2) count charges levelled against him by the police.

The defense counsel for the accused persons, urged the court court to grant his client bail.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr T.O Badmus, thereby granted the accused person bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties that reside within the court jurisdiction and adjourned the case to January 17, 2020 for mention.
