Osun Police Boycott Invitation As Aregbesola, Adeoti Storm Iwo

As the Nigeria Interior Minister, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and other party Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress in Osun storm Iwo in continuation of the federal constituency meeting which started yesterday at Oriade/ Obokun federal constituency yesterday, the presence of the Nigeria Police could not be seen.

According to information gathered by OSUN DEFENDER, the party under the leadership of Alhaji Rasak Salinsile has sent a letter a notification letter dated February 13, 2022 to the police command informing them of the Constituency meetings.

The meeting is coming few hours after Aregbesola’s convoy was attacked by some unknown gunmen at Osogbo, the state capital yesterday.

OSUN DEFENDER who present at the meeting observed only the presence of the Nigeria Service and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Hunter Group of Nigeria who are on ground to give cover for the people.

The Minister will also today hand over the All Progressives Congress flag to Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, an aspirant of the party in the 2022 Guber poll in the state of Osun.
