Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) bombarded Adetunji Estate and Halleluyah estates in Osogbo, the capital of Osun in the wee hours of Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
They were accused of “going dirty” to make some of the arrests.
Some of the youths described the manner of the arrest as Gestapo.
The arrest eventually led to a massive protest by some of the other Yahoo boys with the assistance of hoodlums and other youths in Osogbo by Tuesday morning.
A visit to the Estate by Osun Defender reporter confirmed the manner of the operation as alleged by some of the youths.
The EFCC operatives allegedly broke through walls and security doors to get to some of the arrested victims inside their homes.
Below are the pictures of the wall and door breaking as seen by our reporter.
