Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is at the Odo-Ori market in Iwo town, Osun State to launch the programme where 30,000 petty traders in the state will benefit from the #10, 000 Tradermoni scheme.
The scheme which is part of the National Social Investment Programme of the Federal Government is in collaboration with the Bank of Industry.
Professor Osinbajo’s aircraft landed at DC Elementary School, Araromi, Iwo at about 2:10p.m,.
Osinbajo) arrived the venue with the Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
At the event are the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Deputy Governor, Mrs Titi Laoye-Tomori, the candiate of the All Progressives Congress in the September 22nd Governorship Election in the state, Gboyega Oyetola alongside his deputy, Benedict Olugboyega Alabi.
The Federal Government delegation was received by the mammoth crowd of artisans, top government functionaries, beneficiaries of the scheme among others.
The programme will also be extended to other State in the country.
