Nigeria Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday joined other sympathisers to pay last respect to the wife of former governor of Osun state, Chief Bisi Akande who died after brief illness.
Mrs Omowumi Akande died at UCH, Ibadan on Tuesday and since the news of the incident broke, party chieftains, associates and political leaders have been sending condolences while many of them also visited the the husband of the deceased in Ila.
At today’s burial are APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Governors Rauf Aregbesola of Osun; Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo; Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun; Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo; fmr gov of Ekiti, Segun Oni; Osun Deputy Gov, Mrs Titi Laoye-Tomori among others.
