Oyo Govt Asks LAUTECH VC To Step Aside

The Oyo State Government on Friday asked the Vice Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Prof. Michael Ologunde, to step aside.

This is contained in a statement by Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye.

Olaleye said, “His Excellency, Engr Oluseyin Abiodun Makinde, Governor of Oyo State and Visitor to LAUTECH, Ogbomoso has directed that the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. M.O.Ologunde, should step aside till further notice.

The statement asked Ologunde to handover to the most senior officer to ensure continuation of normal activities in the University.
