Governor Gboyega Oyetola has urged the management of Oodua Group of Companies to make efforts at reviving moribund Companies in the conglomerate.
The Governor gave the charge when he received the top echelon of Oodua Group of Companies in his office.
The Governor observed that if the ailing Companies are given a lease of life to start production again, the crave for imported goods by Nigerians will reduce.
He added that resuscitating some of the dying firms in the Group will strengthen the economy of the South West.
Earlier, the Group Managing Director of the Conglomerate, Mr Adewale Raji had rejoiced with Governor Oyetola on his triumph at the apex court.
He used the opportunity of the visit to tell the Governor areas of strength and weaknesses of the Company with a view to currying the favour of the government.
