Osun State College Of Health Technology, Ilesa, holds matriculation tomorrow

 

The Osun State College Of Health Technology, Imelu Ilesa will tomorrow officially matriculate part one students of the institution.

In a release signed by the College Management, The management is inviting parents, guidance, students and the public to participate in the ceremony slated to hold tomorrow by 10am via Zoom.

The matriculation ceremony is to officially welcome the 2019/2020 intakes to the school.
Although the matriculants are done with their part one academic courses and second semester examinations, some are done with their practical and some are still on practical being part of their academic activities.

According to the management, “The long over due matriculation ceremony was delayed due to the COVID 19 pandemic that were faced globally and as a health institution that was joined in fighting the pandemic, it must also follow the due precautions and procedures”.

The Provost, Dr FM Olaoye said, “The matriculation ceremony will graciously hold tomorrow 31st Wednesday being part of the academic culture and tradition, even when the intakes are already in year two and a fresh admission process is on, there is still need to conduct the ceremony and it will hold via ZOOM in respect to COVID 19 procedures.

“The HOD’s and school officers have been given direction on how to conduct the students to join the ceremony via ZOOM and also the general public”.

While the management has mandated the affected students to join, it has also called on the public to participate by joining the ceremony through the link below.
