Osun Residents Encouraged To Collect PVCs

A call has gone to the entire people of the state of Osun to embark on collection of their Permanent Voters Card, PVC which would enable them to cast their vote during election period.

The leader of the Peace and Reconciliation Committee for Ileri-Oluwa Campaign Organisation in the State, Sooko Adeleke Adewoyin made this call during the constituency tour of the committee to some areas in the state.

Adewoyin, who noted the importance of having the PVC as the only weapon to vote strongly appealed to electorates to troop out enmasse for the collection at the nearest INEC office to them before it is late.

The former Deputy Governor in the state who was addressing teeming supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Obokun, Ijesha and Ife zones as well as Boripe, Ifelodun and Odo-Otin local government area of the state, enjoined the people to demonstrate their unflinching support to the governorship candidate of the party, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.

Adewoyin, and other members of the committee at the meeting, said the leaders support across the state to the victory of the party’s candidate during the governorship election cannot be over emphasised, saying “we must come together as a one family in ensuring victory for our party”.

While speaking with Newsmen shortly after the committee’s visit, a committed member of the Committee, the General Manager, Osun Road Maintenance Agency, ORMA, Engr Mathew Olowokere, emphasised that, the incumbent government in the state has turn around the fortune of the state in the area of construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads which is now calling for the unalloyed support of the entire people of the state for the continuation of the good work.
