Osun PDP Chieftain, Rasaq Salawu Dies

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Iwo local government area of Osun State, Alhaji Rasaq Ajadi Salawu is dead.

Alhaji Salawu, who is a former Chairman of Iwo local government, died in the early hours of Sunday in Iwo.
OSUN DEFENDER gathered that he was aged 78.

Family source told newsmen that the late politician will be buried today according to Islamic rite.

The late political leader who was born in 1944 actively participated in the emergence of Senator Ademola Adeleke as Osun Governor- elect.
