Osun NSCDC Partners ICPC In Fight Against Corruption

 

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Osun Command has reiterated its readiness to partner Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission in the fight against corruption.

 

This was revealed in a statement issued by the Command Ag.Public Relations Officer, ASCII Adeleke Kehinde in Osogbo on Saturday.

 

Osun NSCDC Commandant Agboola Sunday made the disclosure during a courtesy visit by ICPC, Resident Anti Corruption Commissioner in Osun, Mr Demola Bakare.

 

Agboola Sunday commended the efforts of the commission in the fight against corruption noting that all hands must be on deck to change the narrative of corruption which has eaten deep into the system.

 

The Osun NSCDC boss emphasized the need for ICPC to be aggressive in their anti corruption crusade in the country.

 

Speaking, the Resident Anti Corruption Commissioner, Mr Demola Bakare said a collective efforts of all and sundry is needed to take Nigeria to an enviable height.

 

According to him ” everyone is expected to do what is right, whether anyone is watching or not, this is the only way we can all tackle the menace of corruption”, Bakare said.

 

He also enjoined all law enforcement agencies in the country to put on the toga of integrity while discharging their duties, saying bribery and gratifications would not allow them to give their best in service to the nation.
