The Deputy Governor of the State of Osun, Mrs Titi Laoye-Tomori has dropped her aspiration for the Osun Central Senatorial District seat in the 2019 general elections.
In the statement she personally signed, Mrs Laoye-Tomori stressed that the unity and peace of the party in the state as reasons for her withdrawal.
According to the statement, “Out of special consideration for the unity and cohesion of our great party, I hereby announce the withdrawal of my interest in contesting for the Senatorial Seat of Osun Central Senatorial District. I use this medium to thank all of you great men and women on this Platform for your belief in my capability and capacity.
“I thank my teeming supporters, particularly the youths and our women for their unflinching and unconditional love. God bless you all.”
