Osun Banks Robbery: Amotekun Apprehend Gang Leader, Others

 

Operatives of Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed “Amotekun” in the State of Osun have apprehended four armed robbers during an attempt to rob residents of Okuku, Odo-Otin local government area of the state.

 

As at the time of this report, two of the suspects were identified as Kehinde Babalola 23 and Timilehin Afolabi, 19.

 

OSUN DEFENDER gathered that Kehinde Babalola who is an indigene of Ogbomoso confessed to be the Mastermind and gang leader of the robbery attack that occurred at Wema Bank, Okuku recently.

 

The suspect also confessed in engaging in other robbery activities that occurred at Ibadan and Ile-Ife as well as terrorising students of UNIOSUN Okuku Campus.

 

The suspects have been handed over to the DSS for further investigation and prosecution.
