Osun APC Chair, Famodun Eulogises President Buhari For Nominating Aregbesola As Minister

State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Osun State, Prince Gboyega Famodun, has expressed gratitude to President Mohammed Buhari for considering former Governor Rauf Aregbesola as a ministerial-nominee for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The state party chairman in a statement issued by his Media Consultant, Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo on Wednesday, said,  the nomination of Aregbesola for such exotic political office was a recognition of his past exemplary serivices as a former commissioner, ex-state governor and a commited party stakeholder.

Famodun stated that he was convinced beyond resonable doubt that with the enviable record of past performance of the ministerial-nominee, he would add superlative value to the Buhari administration.

He hinted that Aregbesola’s new appointment should be a lesson to the upcoming politicians that hardwork pays as it’s the past record of the former Osun governor that has earned him the ministerial consideration.

Whatever anyone has to say, the laying of a solid foundation for the new Osun was laid by the ministerial-nominee through his doggedness and dexterity to the services of humanity.

In his words, the state party chairman said: “I congratulate the former Governor Rauf Aregbesola and the entire people of Osun State on the recognition of the former governor’s numerous efforts to transform the state which have now earned him an exalted position of a ministerial nominee.

“It’s on record that Aregbesola was the first governor in the history of Osun State to serve two terms without any interruptions.

“History will not also deny the former governor of the fact that he would be the first ex-governor from the state to have ever being considered for the post of a minister”.

Famodun said, it was worthwhile to show a bountiful gratitude to President Buhari for the improved political fortune of Aregbesola as there is no way Osun would not specially benefit from the development.

It would be recalled that Aregbesola’s name was among the 43 ministerial-nominees  that were transited to the National Assembly by  Presidet Buhari on Tuesday for confirmation soonest.
