As the Osun governorship election is fast approaching, the ancient town of Osogbo, State of Osun was agog on Thursday as the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress APC led by the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National Leaders, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, Aremo Olusegun Osoba and South West Governors mobilized support for the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.
Speaking at the rally, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu said APC’s performance had put fear into the minds of the PDP and other opponents.
He deacribed Oyetola as a reliable transformer, saying that he represented light while the others represented darkness.
Tinubu assured youths of massive employment in Osun as it is in Lagos if they troop out in masses to vote for APC.
Also, the APC National Chairman, Oshiomole described the party as a fold of intellectuals and gentlemen.
Oshiomhole urged youths of the state to vote wisely, testifying that Oyetola is an hardworking and a visionary man who has shown total commitment to the development of the State of Osun.
While presenting the APC flag to Oyetola, the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo charged everyone to come out massively to vote Oyetola on September 22.
