As the Osun governorship election is months away, those with eagle eyes have observed that the Peoples Democratic Party is on the move to project former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode as its Gubernatorial candidate.
A source who is a top executive in the party in Ile Ife disclosed to our correspondent that talks are on going to persuade Chief Fani Kayode to contest in the forthcoming guber election in the state.
Another undisclosed source revealed that a fraction of the PDP led by its Former National Secretary, Professor Wale Ladipo are backing him up.
Investigations also revealed that Jubril Kayode and other close aides of Femi Fani-Kayode are working on him to step in.
It was observed that scores of Ife indigenes are of the view that he can lead the state with the notion that he is a true son of the soil.
