Osun 2018: APC Youth Forum Implore Youths To Register With INEC, Get PVC

A group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), State of Osun chapter-Osun All Progressives Youth Forum (OAPYF) led by Comrade Olateju Olorungbebe on Sunday, implored the youths of the State, especially those who have not registered, to ensure they register with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and secure their Permanent Voters’ Cards which would enable them exercise their franchise in the coming governorship election.
The Coordinator, while speaking at the phase 2 of the programme at Irewole, Isokan and Ayedaade Federal Constituencies in the state, explained that the PVC is the only weapon with which the youths can claim their rights.
According to him, “Voters card is the weapon that could be used by the electorate to choose candidates of their choice.”
The Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperative and Industries, Hon. Alagbada Jayeoba, who was at the event, commended Aregbesola for giving youths the privilege to participate in the newly parliamentary system of government.
The commissioner for Science,  Innovation and Technology, Hon. Remi Omowaye also praised Aregbesola on infrastructural developments across the state.
Omowaye said the Chief Bisi Akande Trumpet Bridge in Gbongan Ibadan road will save lives and reduce accidents.
He however charged youths to be active in the party, adding that there are lot of chances for them to be leaders in the future.
