The Acting President, who said he received news of Mr Onuekwusi’s death with great sadness, extended his heartfelt condolences to broadcast journalist’s family and the management and staff of Channels TV.
In a statement made by Mr Laolu Akande his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Professor Osinbajo the acting president described the broadcast journalist as an exceptional gentleman, who combined high professionalism with dedication and patriotism,
“in his diligent reportage of activities in the Presidential Villa”.
He also commiserated with the State House Press Corps over their loss and prayed that God should comfort Mr Onuekwusi’s family and all who mourn him.
