The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has sought an increase in the inclusion of women in leadership positions across the country.
This was revealed in a statement signed by the Ooni’s Director, Media & Public affairs, Moses Olafare, in Ile-ife.
Oba Ogunwusi made this call while observing the annual Edi Festival, which celebrates the life and sacrifice of an Ife woman, Moremi Ajasoro, who according to history secured the land from invaders.
