NSCDC Arrest Five Notorious Motorcycle Snatchers In Niger

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC) Special Unit deployed to Minna-Suleja Federal Highway has arrested five notorious motorcycle snatchers terrorizing residents of Gurara Local Government Area.

The Commandant of the Corps in the state, Mr Philip Ayuba, disclosed this in an interview with our reporters in Minna on Tuesday.

Ayuba said that the suspects were rounded up in Gawu Babangida and Damisa villages in Gurara local government area.

“Three of the suspects confessed to the crime while the remaining two were accomplished.

“The suspects confessed that the motor batteries found in their possessions were stolen from cars parked in Gawu Babangida village with the use of the multiple keys.

“Items recovered from the suspects include; two vehicle batteries, one digital camera, 30 assorted keys, one Bluetooth, one Hi TV receiver, one car stereo and assorted food stuff,’’ he said.

The commandant said the suspects would all be charged to court after the investigation had been concluded.
