Monarch, Council Chair Charge Allottees On Development Of Dagbolu Housing Scheme

Akirun of Ikirun, Oba AbdulRauf Olawale Adedeji has charged all the allotees at Dagbolu Residential Scheme to immediately commence development of the portions allocated to them by the management of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun.

The monarch made this remark while inspecting the re-opening of all the existing roads in the site.

Oba Adedeji was accompanied by the Local Government Chairman, Hon Alhaji Lamidi Omoloye. 

The Monarch who expressed his satisfaction on the job done by the town planning department of the council frowned at the allottees’ attitude towards the development of over 75 acres of land acquired.

He therefore solicited the cooperation of both the political and career officers in ensuring rapid development of the scheme.

The Executive Chairman, Ifelodun Local Government, Alhaji Lamidi Omoloye promised to embark on massive publicity to sensitize the public and to warn erring allottees on danger of revocation if not developed within the stipulated time.

The Head of Town Planning department, Mr LanreBaruwa, while commending the chairman on his financial commitment to develop the site promised to do everything possible within the ambit of the law to protect the land and give it speedy development.

 The expanse of land which lies between Ikirun/Osogbo road has been left undeveloped since 1991.
