The Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has declared a three-day dusk to dawn curfew in Aba, the commercial nerve centre of the state.

Ikpeazu said the curfew was necessitated by the attack on the officers and men of the Nigerian Army by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), led by Nnamdi Kanu.
