May Day: NDCP Congratulates Workers, Promises Better Package If Voted In 2019

The Nigeria Democratic Congress Party (NDCP) has congratulated Nigerian Workers on the occasion of the 2018 May Day.

The party lauded the sacrifices of the workers to nation building just as it promised them better welfare packages if voted to power in 2019.

Its Presidential Candidate, Dr Johnson Edosomwan in a statement on Tuesday decried the poor working conditions of Nigerian workers.

He said aside the low take home of an average Nigerian worker, they are inadequately motivated to appreciate their services to the country.

The Nigeria Democratic Congress Party urged the Nigeria Labour Congress and other labour unions in the country to support its mission to change the situation of things if it takes over at the presidency next year.

The Presidential Candidate of NDCP also stressed that if supported to power, the party will not hesitate to implement all the demands of labour as regards minimum wage, retirement benefits and bonuses will be swiftly addressed.

Edosomwan wished the Nigerian Labour Congress and its affiliates as well as Nigerians a happy May Day Celebration.
