A magistrate court sitting in Osogbo has jailed a 21-year-old man, Adewumi Adetunji over alleged house breaking and stealing.
A charge sheet made available to Osun Defender revealed that he broke and entered into the house of one Pastor Ajagbe Richard.
Among the properties the accused person carted away, according to the charge sheet, are; Dell laptop and charger, Sonny digital video camera, wrist watch, Nokia phones, Two Pono phones, Two Infinix charger, one power bank, one perfume round bottle, new and used boxers, two sardine, Dr fresh turbo power battery, all totaling N592,000.
According to the charge sheet, the offence was committed at Unity house, Ido-osun area, Osogbo on October 21, 2018.
Meanwhile the accused person pleaded guilty to the two count charges levelled against him.
The charge sheet stated that the offence was in contrary to and punishable under section 411 of the criminal code cap 34 vol.11 laws of Osun state Nigeria, 2003.
The defense counsel, Mr. Chibueze Collins prayed the court to tempered justice with mercy.
Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Ajanaku declared the accused person convicted.
She, therefore, sentenced him to one year imprisonment on each count.
