Man Arraigned For Stealing N45,000 Worth Of Phone

A 20 years-old Akinola Emmanuel has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing mobile phone worth N45,000.

The charge sheet read in court disclosed that the accused person committed the offence on 30th September, 2017 at the Fan Milk Street, Osogbo.

It revealed that the accused person entered into the room of one Ogunleye Aderinsola and stole Techno W4 mobile phone, valued N45,000, thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 383 and Punishable under Section 390(9) of the State Penal Code 2003.

The accused person pleaded not guilty to the charge levelled against him.

The defence counsel, Okobe Najite pray the court to granted the accused person bail in a liberal terms.

The Presided Magistrate, Mrs. Oloyade release the accused person to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in a like sum.

She then adjourned the case till 9th of November, 2017 for hearing.
