Lagos APC Chieftain, Anselm Udoka ‘Orobo’ Is Dead

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and prominent member of the Ndigbo in Lagos State, Prince Anselm Udoka, popularly known as ‘Orobo’ is dead.
Osun Defender learnt that Prince Udoka died a few days ago at the intensive care unit of the Gbagada General Hospital, after battling an undisclosed ailment.
It was gathered that his corpse to his hometown in Imo State, where he is expected to be buried.
Orobo’s death was received by Ndigbo residents in Lagos with shock, as many claim no one learnt about his ill health before information about his death filtered.
Osun Defender also gathered that relatives, friends, well-wishers, and political associates have been trooping to the deceased’s house at Green Field Estate in Ago Okota area to pay condolences and console his wife.
One of the Igbo stakeholders, Chief Chinedu Ndubisi, described his death as not only shocking but very devastating because he was kind and was always willing to assist people in difficulty.
The first President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos State, Chief John Uche, also described his death as shocking.
He said Orobo had a kind heart and was always willing to listen to and care for the people.
Some of the political associates that have also commisserated with late Orobo’s family include the leader of Ndigbo in APC, Lagos State, Chief Joe Igbokwe, Chief Chris Ekwilo, Chief Babatata Uche, Chief Mrs. Vivian Obi among others.
