Kwara State government has reiterated its commitment to ensure that all ongoing projects across the State are taken to completion.
The State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Alhaji Aro Yahaya stated this when he inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of Anilelerin road in Offa local government area of the State. He also denied rumours that the project has been abandoned by the state government.
Alhaji Yahaya urged the contractor to ensure speedy completion of the project for the benefit of residents and road users in the community.
He assured that despite paucity of funds, the State government will continue to pay contractors as and when due to ensure completion of the projects.
Other road projects inspected by the Commissioner include Ogbodonroko township road, Offa/Ira road, Erin Ile-Ilemona road, Oke opin road and Rore-Ipetu road.
