Governor Yahya Bello of Kogi State has disclosed that his administration has introduced free education for the people of the state, saying he is introducing the initiative to follow the footstep of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo.
Governor Bello revealed that the education in the state from primary to tertiary institutions will now be free henceforth.
He made the disclosure at the 2023 Kogi APC Governorship Campaign Flag Off on Sunday.
He however noted that the free education initiative will be build upon by the party candidate in the November 11, Governorship election in the state, Ahmed Ododo.
