Just In:: Man City Crowned English Champions In An Entertaining Final Match Day

Manchester City football club has been crowned as the champions of the Barclay English Premier League after a tantalizing final day match.

City needed to score three times to overcome a resolute Aston Villa who were determine to deny them the crown.

The match ended 3 goals to 2 in favour of City.

In the other match Liverpool defeated Wolves FC 3-1, however the result at the Etihad made the Anfield win irrelevant.

Meanwhile, Chelsea defeated Watford 2-1 to remain 3rd while Tottenham demolished already relegated Norwich 0-5 to hold on to 4th.

Arsenal and Manchester United will play in the UEFA Europa league next season after the Gunners defeated Everton 5-1 while United suffered a 1-0 loss.

Burnley joined Watford and Norwich as relegated teams after falling to a 2-1 defeat in the hands of Newcastle.
